The dominant paradigm is one which pathologizes human brains that diverge from those considered typical. From this perspective, these brains have medical conditions which should be treated. Neurodiversity. The Neurodiversity Paradigm is a concept where neurological differences; Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dyslexia, Dyspraxia/Developmental Co-ordination Disorder (DCD), Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and Tourette Syndrome are recognised and respected like any other human variation.
